LED Corn Lamp Manufacturer

LED corn lamp with multiple rows of surface mount LED chips in a 360 degree patternLED technology has become dominant in the lighting industry over the past decade for a multitude of reasons. The largest reason for their popularity is their significantly reduced energy consumption, which results in dramatically lower operating costs throughout their service life. Also, LED lighting practically eliminates regular servicing and maintenance associated with traditional forms of lighting. This results in huge cost parts and labor savings over the life of the lamp.

Beam 360 lights are built for long life and durability, with advanced thermal management and aluminum LED board and heatsink construction. Our lights also feature Samsung LED chips for optimum efficiency, color rendering and lifespan. These corn bulbs feature a polycarbonate base with options for both E26 and E39 threads. They also are able to operate in a wide temperature range anywhere from -4° F to 149° F, making them suitable for a wide range of indoor and covered outdoor applications.

Our corn lights are available in a wide variety of wattages and sizes depending on customer requirements. These start at 14W, 18W and 22W lamps intended for those looking for maximum energy efficiency while still providing high quality illumination. Mid-range sizes vary from 27W to 54W and are preferred for applications requiring significant illumination while still keeping energy efficiency in mind. The largest of our corn lamps are the 80W, 100W & 120W lamps that provide the absolute maximum illumination possible while still being more energy efficient than their traditional HID and high-pressure sodium lamp counterparts.

Corn lights are used for a wide range of both indoor and outdoor applications, such as lamp posts, warehouse lighting and shop lighting. Our smaller sizes that use E26 bases make excellent replacements for CFL bulbs using standard sockets, commonly seen in residential, retail, commercial and even industrial environments. Our larger sizes using E39 bases are ideal for light posts and industrial applications where HIDs and sodium lamps would traditionally be used.

LED Corn Lamps vs. CFL, HID and Sodium Lamps

Even though traditional lighting is still widely used, many customers are recognizing the advantages of LED lighting for their applications. There are many benefits to using LEDs over traditional HID, CFL and high-pressure sodium lamps. These include:

  • Considerably lower energy consumption
  • Improved lumen output per watt
  • Two to three times the useful lifespan
  • Dramatically reduced maintenance costs
  • Increase in overall safety and security due to better lighting accuracy

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are these drop-in replacements for traditional lamps?
Yes, generally speaking these lamps are drop-in units that do not require any modifications. However, for certain HID fixtures you many need to rewire the fixture to bypass any existing ballasts.

Q: Can these lamps be mounted in an enclosed fixture?
Yes, these lights are rated for enclosed fixtures. When used in an enclosed fixture, these lights can be used outdoors. They are IP60 rated which means they are protected from dust ingress which is common in outdoor applications.

Q: Will these work with regular 110/120V power?
Yes, most of these lamps are rated for 85/277W power which means they can operate within this overall voltage range.
